First NEHU National Moot Court Competition 2016

Direct-Selling-Agent-AgreementDepartmentof Law, NEHU is one of the leading law school of the north eastern part of the country, is organizing the first NEHU National Moot Court Competition.  Representation will be through a team of three (3) students, consisting of two (2) speakers and one (1) researcher and one teacher in-charge (optional). All participants must be full-time candidates presently enrolled in an undergraduate/postgraduate degree programme in law. It is expected that there will be participation from teams belonging to national Law schools. The written memorials and oral rounds of the competition will be judged by experts in the subject area. Along with a number of individual awards, cash prizes inclusive of law Department Moot Trophy will be awarded to the winning teams. 

Important Dates

Last date for online registration: 31st August, 2016

Last date for submission of hard copy of registration: 5th September, 2016

Assignment of team ids by Organizers: 9th September, 2016

Memorial last date to submit soft copies of memorials: 16th September, 2016

Last date to submit hard copies of memorials: 24th September, 2016

Registration at the competition: 5th October, 2016

Oral rounds and researchers’ tests: 5th – 7th October, 2016
