It is HARD to accept the death of a loved one; especially when you didn’t have the chance to say goodbye; especially when the deceased was taken so suddenly and so shockingly at the prime of life and most especially when it seems like an irreplaceable part of your world is gone. The grief and the pain can be unbearable; you cry a river and your sorrow knows no end. You never really know what it’s like until you are there yourself, but you look to God because he’s the only one who can comfort you.
Our colleague Aishwarya Dhakarey (content manager, Lexkhoj), passed away tragically on March 12. She ended her life, leaving behind a note, which she had written on March 7
Death and indeed a death so sudden like the death of our colleague Aishwarya Dhakarey, make us realize the brevity of life. We often take life for granted; too much so. Her death has made us to sit down and reflect. It has made us take time to appreciate the loved ones in our life because we don’t know what tomorrow will bring.
We pray that God endows her family and friends with strength to cope with the loss. May her soul rest in peace.
A tribute from Vishnu Tandi, Founder Lexkhoj
Aishwarya was a wonderful employee who understood the meaning of the word “team.” She was always more focused on the good of the organization than on her own benefit. She made many great contributions to the Lexkhoj and helped it move forward in numerous ways. Her work here will not soon be forgotten. I pray to the Lord to bless the soul with eternal peace and give support to her family during this hard time.
A tribute from Sukriti Ghai, Co-Founder, Lexkhoj
Aishwarya was a valuable part of the team Lexkhoj. She has been a pillar of strength. Her integrity and sense of calmness under-girded by a deep commitment to justice will be missed in in our organisation as a whole. I hope that our Lord brings her family the much-needed peace during this sad time.
A tribute from Sneha Tandi, Managing Director, Lexkhoj
We are all walking around today with a deep sense of loss and disbelief. It is impossible to believe that Aishwarya’s sincerity, integrity, calm and dignity will no longer enrich our organisation; that her experience, wisdom and kindness will not be available to all her colleagues. She has been taken from us so soon. Our hearts goes out to her family who has suffered such loss over the last while. May they find peace and grace.
A tribute from Yogita Lohia, Managing Partner, Lexkhoj
We are reeling with this news and just reflecting on dear Aishwarya and her humble presence in the organisation. We consider her the valuable assets to the organization. It is heartbreaking to lose one of our own and we pray for courage to all our colleagues so that we can help each other get through this tragic loss and also stand strong to support his family through this horrific year of loss.
