[Exclusive] Bad News for LLM aspirants: Seats in NLUs are decreased by 150

aptitude-section-clatChanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna  is conducting CLAT 2017 on May 14 in a total of 63 examination centres across India. CLAT 2017 has recorded over 13 per cent increase in number of applications from the last year.

Vice-Chancellor of Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) Patna and this year’s Convenor Prof A Lakshminath quoted:

“As of now, around 45,000 candidates have applied for CLAT UG programme and 6,000 for the PG programme.” source

Almost one-fifth of the applicants this year are from Delhi (7,776 applications). Lucknow (2,714) and Bhopal (2,660) were the other cities from where most applicants registered source

LLM applicants registered for the 2017 exam are 8% higher than last year’s figure. but bad new for LLM candidates is that NLUs has reduced the number of seats for LLM. The given Table shows that seats are decreased by 150.
